Markets & liquidity
FOLD ownership and LP ownership are two different claims.
The browser market is a constant-product FOLD/ETH pool. Traders exchange against its inventory; liquidity providers own a proportional share of both assets in that market. The common reserve is a different balance.
The pool model
x = ETH pool inventory
y = FOLD pool inventory
x × y = k, before fees and integer roundingAt reset, the pool holds 40 ETH and 200 million FOLD, represented by 1,000 seed LP shares. Those shares belong to simulated other providers. Your wallet starts with no LP shares.
A swap changes the ratio of inventory and therefore the next quote. Larger trades generally cause greater price impact. The output is computed from pool inventory, not from treasury NAV.
Swap fees
| Charge | Rate | Destination |
|---|---|---|
| LP fee | 0.7% | Stays with pool inventory |
| Protocol fee | 0.3% | Routed as ETH protocol income |
| Total | 1.0% | Included in the displayed quote |
A fee quote does not guarantee execution on a future live market. The browser settles locally against its current state.
Adding and removing capital
Deposits use the current pool ratio and mint proportional LP shares. Withdrawals redeem only the LP shares you own for a share of the current ETH and FOLD inventory. You cannot withdraw the seeded market capital as if it were yours.
After trades, withdrawing the same LP share can return a different asset mix. Fees can accrue while inventory exposure still loses value relative to simply holding the assets.
A live market needs liquidity
The seed pool is a simulation, not evidence of funded market depth. A real launch needs a venue, compatible token behavior, funding, ownership or lock terms, slippage limits and public proof of the deployed pool.
