Tokenized stocks

Asset exposure, valuation and income are separate questions.

The app includes AAPL, MSFT and NVDA to test a multi-asset reserve. They are sample accounting units. FOLD has not selected or integrated a live stock-token issuer.

What you can do today

Assets lets you rebalance the sandbox treasury or trade stock units in your sample wallet. The trade uses the displayed sample stock/ETH quote and a 0.1% venue fee. External liquidity is assumed by the model.

You can receive stock units through basket redemption. The wallet and treasury hold separate quantities, so changing the trade account changes whose assets are used.

Price appreciation is not income

The rising-market scenario increases ETH by 5% and stock prices by 10%; the falling scenario reduces them by the same percentages. Quantities do not change. Higher NAV does not put ETH into the reward balance.

Stock income is an explicit scenario

The sample stock-income control adds an example ETH receipt to the routing model. It does not demonstrate that a real token passes dividends through to FOLD.

Before live stocks

  1. Select an issuer and verify what each token actually represents.
  2. Confirm transfer restrictions, eligible holders, redemption rights and corporate-action treatment.
  3. Design custody, valuation, supported-asset limits and settlement for a multi-asset reserve.
  4. Verify venue depth and how stock positions can be exited when their underlying market is closed.
  5. Implement and review new contracts. The existing immutable ETH treasury cannot acquire stock support through a website update.

Risks specific to stock tokens

Issuer and custodian failure, transfer controls, market-hour gaps, unreliable valuation and restricted redemption can all affect a claim. Ticker similarity alone establishes none of the rights associated with an ordinary share.
