Frequently asked questions
Direct answers about FOLD, the reserve and the current release.
Start here for the distinctions that matter when using the app. Each answer reflects the current implementation rather than a future launch assumption.
Can I buy a live FOLD token here?
No. App trades use a local sample pool. There is no verified live FOLD address or enabled transaction path published by this release.
Does FOLD hold ETH or stocks?
The browser model holds ETH plus AAPL, MSFT and NVDA. The separate Solidity treasury reference holds native ETH only. Real stock support needs a new implementation and verified issuer/venue integrations.
Where do payouts come from?
The simulation funds rewards from routed swap fees and explicitly injected sample receipts. A live release would need actual collected revenue. Stock price appreciation and new LP deposits are not rewards income.
Why are my balances unchanged after connecting?
Wallet connection shows your real address and current network. The app continues using sample balances and never asks for a signature, approval or FOLD transaction.
Why do the contract links end in .sol?
.sol is the file extension for Solidity source code. It is unrelated to a Solana address. FOLD targets the EVM-compatible Robinhood Chain.
Is there a guaranteed price or APY?
No. A reserve claim is a quantity of assets, not a guaranteed market or dollar price. Funded rewards depend on receipts and stake weight; the model does not establish a sustainable return.
What happens if I reset or clear browser data?
Reset restores the sample starting balances and removes the previous scenario from this browser. Clearing site storage can also remove it. Export your ledger from Activity if you want to retain the simulation history.
Is FOLD affiliated with UFG?
FOLD is independently written and its native-ETH reserve idea is inspired by UFG. No partnership or endorsement is implied. Overcall’s documentation was a reference for the reading layout, not for FOLD’s financial mechanisms.
